Loreal are one of the largest cosmetic companies in the world-they test on animals and even LIED to PETA about stopping using animal experimentayion for their products. They still do. By buying their products you are supporting thier idea that your beauty is more important than the suffering and death of animals in labs. Dont buy loreal. The body shop was also bought out by loreal- so even though the body shop says they ar e against animal testing you are still funding loreal as they are the parent company and profit from the body shop products. Adidas-a really famous name and what they use in many of their products is also very famous as a symbol of Australia. Adidas use KANGAROO leather. Boycott Adidas and help save the kangaroo. For more info check out Viva!s campaign:
Before you think that we are against finding cures for Heart disease and Cancer etc-we aren't. We actually WANT to find cures but using methods that are reliable and work. Animal testing has made MANY mistakes that have cost lives. Vivisection is harmful for humans and non-humans not to mention brutal. The british heart foundation states on thier website 'we fund research using animals'. The money and time you donate to them is funding vivisection. Please don't support them.
